So I missed posting about yesterday's 16 week appointment. It went really well except I gained 5 more lbs in 2 months. Not too bad, but 13 overall. (could be worse) Anyhow bp was 120/86 and my husband made it in time so he was there and he heard the heartbeat and smiled. I had heard it when I was 12 weeks 2 days, and yesterday I was 16 weeks 3 days. I have my next appointment for the 20 week U/S and appointment on January 24th. I will be exactly 20 weeks. I cannot wait to see the baby again. I of course will see him on Monday but she said they only look at the baby for a short amount of time, and then do the Amnio. I was told I have to stay in bed and rest most of that day and no lifting so hubby took the day off from his 2nd shift job. I also asked more about my risk of Down's since I was face to face with her. She eased our mind a lot cause she said it is only a 2% chance and to focus on the 98% chance he is perfectly healthy. So this is our last baby and we've been talking a lot about him getting a vasectomy, and he is scared. We have a lot of friends who have had them and they are fine, but he doesn't like the fact that thereis cutting and smoke involved between his legs. lol So we'll see. I will most definately be in BCP after the baby. mini pills because I will be bfing.
One other HUGE thing from yesterday, I felt the baby move while in the Dr.'s office. Very cool. Then he was moving around even more last night.
